Modbus RTU To MQTT GPRS Gateway

• Modbus RTU (RS485 or RS232) to GPRS(MQTT) Gateway is Reliable, Flexible and Plug-n-play device to fetch data Over Modbus RTU and send them to cloud using MQTT protocol over GPRS network.
• Multiple Modbus RTU transaction ns can be configured using SMS to fetch data from variety of Modbus Slave devices like Energy meter, Temperature scanners etc.
• Designed around SIMCOM SIM800 GSM/GPRS Module. We were very early adopter of SIM800 Module in India and quite extensive experience of it in Industrial IoT applications.
• Field tested with Mosquitto MQTT Broker (Most widely used MQTT broker).
• Multiple Modbus slaves can be connected to same RS485 network even with different baud rates.
• Modbus write operations is also allowed to configured Modbus devices remotely.
• Standard JSON data format for easy parsing at server side. Max. 250 tags(Modbus registers) and 100 tags(registers) per Modbus transaction is allowed.
• Data transmission interval can e configured.
• Data can be buffered if server is disconnected. Optional support for micro SD card for la ger data buffering.
• Innovative and unique design, without using any external microcontroller. Modbus RTU and MQTT protocol handling is integrated into GPRS module itself for better reliability. This enables us to use powerful CPU and more memory resources to make Module’s software architecture flexible and robust. We are only developer in India to design/develop such a solution on SIMCOM GSM/GPRS module In India.
• Gateway module will automatically connect with MQTT Broker and remains connected. It will automatically reconnect if required.
• Module will automatically reboot itself if required (no signal or connection fails repeatedly).
• All configuration like MQTT Broker URL/IP, Port no, User Name & Password, Baud rate for serial port (2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, 115200) settings can be done via SMS.
